I will forever be salty about NFTs. We found a way to assign ownership of things to people without having to get a third party involved. We found how to transfer that ownership. We were talking about having house deeds and car pinkslips as NFTs and what did we do? Fucking JPGs...

Something that made me more optimistic about jpeg nfts was spending time in the digital artist community. Digital property rights have been a huge unlock for them in terms of making a living off of their art, and it is so much more genuine than all the pfp crap.
