A mysterious NPC perches upon the slab of malformed sandstone above. Their form and face remain obscured, save their eyes - but within lies a glint of well-worn secrets, a passive expectation in the curve of their shoulders. There is no rush out here. No, not beneath this beating sun and too-clear sky. The empty blue presses in, threatens to swallow any not huddled in the safety of the mangled sandstone.

The black-clad silhouette and gritty red stone couldn't look more disparate, but they sit as motionless as if they'd been formed of the same clay. As if this stranger, borne of this perch, has been here long before time held meaning. And will persist long after. In their patience, figure and stone are one.

You may not have need of this stranger now. But they remain.
You will know when the time is right. She will be waiting.
