That would be called sloppy if he was someone who wasn't a state epidemiologist. As a state epidemiologist, that was unprofessional. Why didn't he check and read said study and then send that study in emails instead of a YouTube video of a guy who was known to give diet advice? He seemed clueless.

1st year 1st semester university students learn how to check how reliable their sources of information are and how to access peer-reviewed scientific papers. How a state epidemiologist didn't know this is beyond me. A simple search of that guy's name and one learns fast he is deeply unreliable.
