Technology has been deleting jobs that existed and don't anymore for as long as technology existed, how's that a matter of politics? He said jobs will disappear and it will hurt certain people, not that the people will be obsolete? Jobs aren't people.

What are the people gonna do? This is the constant libertarian refrain, that people just need to adapt to the constantly changing world and (left unsaid) if they can’t or don’t, they deserve to starve. Which is an easy belief to have if you’ve only ever had fake jobs like “founder”.
