Cancel me but Glitzville is kind of a boring part in TTYD & it makes me miss the exploration in Color Splash & Origami King. Sure the battle in TTYD is great but it doesn’t sustain a whole chapter alone.

Playing "The Thousand Year Door" remake has made me want to replay "The Origami King" for some reason? It's not as good as the first three Paper Mario games, but I still enjoyed it on its own, even though there's things about it I would change. I dunno, I might have to go ahead and play it again.

Paper Mario: The Origami King This game fucking rocks, y'all are just big babies. Yes, it doesn't have the combat system of 64 or TTYD, and yes barring Olivia and Olly, there are no new species or unique designs (at least not comparable to the first three games in the latter's case), HOWEVER 1/4

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door was excellent. I loved Origami King too. Maybe somewhere between them is the perfect balance for a new Paper Mario.

After replaying/reviewing Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, I kind of want to check out The Origami King now. I know it’s not nearly as well-regarded but I’ve heard some good things.

The TTYD remake is VERY good. But it's also making me slightly miss the Origami King overworld design and if they ever make a new entry with the RPG formula it would bang so hard

I've been contributing to make Color Splash/The Origami King style with every Mario enemies that I caught my interest, doing so to share along the internet; and so here they are, created from the 2020s! Even when there are some errors to fix - it still went pretty neat and I'm proud of 'em so far!

Origami King was actually very good. I played that one when it came out.
