It's great to see this again! Hey, isn't that Kaida Mitama from the short story Grasping the Thorn? 😜

Somnia is one I have been curious about for a while and the others look interesting. Good luck with the preorders! My Essen Spiel preorder list is card-tastic.

There are a couple of games at Essen Spiel which look really interesting, but my "No AI" policy means I'll never purchase them. It's a damn shame and so easily avoidable. I'm already tired of wondering if things were created using AI and I expect it's going to get much worse.

Batman towering over you, snapping the wooden stock of a shotgun in half with his bare hands as he says "This is the weapon of the enemy. We do not need it. We will not use it."

The shotgun is labeled - fragmented where it has been snapped in half - "AI (even if you're making fun of it)"

This BGG top 10 that adjusts for complexity bias is such a strong list of games. I enjoyed this article about biases in the BGG rankings a lot!

I did a thing. Is this good? Bad? A meaningless distraction from contemplating the vast nothingness that awaits us all? *shrugs* www.16personalities.com/profiles/ent...

Yeah, they put a lot of effort into studying books on the class system, which sounds great until you consider which class the authors of those books came from. History written by the victors and all that jazz.
