Hey, I'm not sure why exactly this needs to be said, but I'd rather not people assert that by putting a lot of weight on a vast array of issues which are important to you and affect your loved ones you're ignoring any particular issues or worse co-signing on the way any particular issue is handled.

But my entire identity is wrapped up in thing. If you don't identify with my thing and how I engage with it, you're personally attacking me, and erasing my identity!
This is very true, I notice a lot of the same people assuming that silence means I'm not upset by an issue or that I don't care, which is often untrue. engaging with stuff that stresses me out, well, stresses me out so sorry for not talking about it !
This is so true! Just because you focus on and amplify certain issues with personal anecdotes or experiences does not make you a “single issue voter” people have priorities thats normal!
(re-wrote this post because it used to be in first person and several people thought I'm complaining about a thing happening to me. I'm not, though I do wish people might think a little more complexly about the situation at hand, considering all the factors and not just one)
