I have owned every generation of playstation since I was 12 years old and I don't doubt that Astrobot is fun to play, I just simply don't find playstation IP stuff to be particularly charming. It feels like the novelty part of the game is a K-mart Nintendo idea, like the spongebob game vs smash bros
i understand the sentiment completely - astrobot is closer to my heart because of my time with Playroom VR but it's definitely corporate af
It kind of sucks that they never really stuck with a single mascot or anything long enough for it to become iconic. I for one am partial to Toro Inoue.

It's ok, you're allowed not to like popular things. That's normal. Personally I just find pure platformers dull. It's not a big deal though.
