I have different types of hugs for people I consider friends but acquaintances? I never initiate them. Even if I’m attracted to said acquaintance, if I don’t have some kind of bond/trust with an individual I don’t hug.

I get the second aspect as well, but I don’t put hugs as a handshake Strangely enough my mom hugs people when she meets folk for the first time, but not me (unless there’s a reason)
