My personal hunch is the number of voters who 1. Say they can’t vote Harris because Gaza 2. Would not have found ANOTHER principled reason they could not vote Harris if not for Gaza 3. Live in a swing state …is probably negligible. That’s a hunch at the truth, not a statement of values.

I just don’t think Gaza is actually an electoral issue, for the first reason being that the safety of Gaza isn’t really on the ballot at all; there is a meaningful difference of degree but there’s no pro-Gaza candidate. I think mass deportation of *Americans* is *barely* an electoral issue.
