Mom came home and just conked out asleep it took me forever to get her up and properly into bed. Hopefully she sleeps fine through the night!!

Mom is coming home!! Wish me luck that she handles the car ride okay. She’s eating supper at the hospital tonight. A friend’s mom is bringing us food tomorrow afternoon and a friend from grad school is going to door dash us lunch.

I have therapy today thank god. I need to get up and feed the dogs first tho. So I can just leave for the hospital when I’m done

going to get a hold of a patient advocate tomorrow for some bullshit happening with mom and i'm laying in bed fighting with her surgeon in my head and NO i need to REST and SLEEP or read the jadecest exchange fics

This whole experience is making me lose what little faith I had left in the medical system and wow it wasn’t a lot

Got my mom in her room

No one knows where mom is but in transit limbo and I’m so afraid she’s sitting in a cold hallway alone and in pain bc that happened to me

If the don’t admit mom I have to drive 40 minutes home check on the dogs and get her PM meds and drive 40 minutes back or they’ll charge her full price for her pm meds. This is hell we live in hell.

Mom’s nurse is so funny and patient with her and I’m very thankful
