Just posted three of the things I could find but...what with elongated muskrat's tampering with old tweets and people nuking their accounts, it is difficult to find anything older than 2018 and this stuff happened in 2016

Pulled a "well actually" on a scientist (yes a woman) about biology at the same time as those tweets but all I can find now are dead references as said scientist nuked their account: twitter.com/leafwarbler/...

This was on his twitter account, not a news article.

This was back on the bird site several years ago prior to the sexual assault stories coming out. If I have to go over there to find them I will. It is what made me stop following anything he did long before his accusers came out.

I am pretty sure his tweets on the matter are still up on the other site. If he has walked it back, I never saw anything of the sort pop up...

Let me just say I have been pissed about the above for YEARS at this point.

...I guess people forgot he is also a "gender essentiallist" (read: terf adjacent) and thinks his astrophysics knowledge makes him qualified to speak on such matters as the intersection of sexuality, gender, and biology.

I mean we may as well do this since my plan of becoming an astrophysicist then taking his job and prestige is on the back burner because of *waves at everything*...
