The show demonstrates the many different ways mythic artists have been inspired by the moorland landscape and its stories. Also, one of the themes of #Glasgow2024 is "community" - so I wanted to find a way to bring my Dartmoor community along with me, and this is it. Come find us.

As a furriner absent from England for Lo! These many years!, my mental association with Dartmoor is as a bleak backdrop for His Majesty's Prison. But all the pictures of Dartmoor I actually see are the lovely ones you post with soft hills and warm sunlight, & the mythic illustrations. It's funny!
