Great advice. Also something I learned from a @unionofconcernedscientists training is to *not* repost/quote the misinformation in your process of debunking. Give a factual counterpoint and just refer to the misinformation (eg, “I know a lot of rumors are going around, so here are some resources…”)

Hi all -- there's a harmful weather manipulation narrative starting up on X. And dogpiling meterologists. There's also a harmful narrative about emergency response, and sowing hate of FEMA. Our volunteers are working really hard, but we really need help in countering between now and the election.

I think for a very long time scientists hoped that we could address climate change before massive human suffering ensued, and then about 10 years ago it became.. hopefully we can address climate change before even *more* human suffering ensues, and now it’s just… how much suffering is enough?
