this is The Thing i have to work on believing that reaching out & keeping in touch was me being "a bother" was the primary form that repressing transition took for me... and it stole a lot from my life. transition doesn't just fix it, either; it's something i have to actively change in myself

habits like this are hard to shake after so long, but actually liking myself helps a lot
