Agreed, but here more an industrial problem than a geopolitical one, Israel (≠Ukr) can/will strike back. So for Iran the cost is not just the drone/missile but also the Israeli retaliation. The prospect of this retaliation makes this media "not sustainable long term" debate a bit void.

True. Israel might even destroy some of their manufacturing capabilities. I have to admit, when I was responding I had the Ukrainian situation in mind.
