Was thinking the same thing. Standardize USB-C in power sockets in addition to the local AC voltage/socket. Might even consider having an option for USB-C sockets that are fed directly from solar DC, so instead of DC->AC->DC it's a single DC->DC conversion. Unfortuantely USB-C can't replace all.

Go ahead, make USB-C the standard, but I'm not giving up my storage container of chargers until you pull it from my cold, dead closet!
