I broke down and watched the #TimelessChild#ChristmasSpecial#Chibnall#DisneyVillain musical number rendered them non-threatening.
When there is no real threat to the protagonists, there are no real stakes in the story. The not-gremlins (not sure why #RussellTDavies insisted on calling them goblins when behaviorally they were gremlins) were too easily dispatched. What was even the point of this episode?
