I had also forgotten about the episode in the last season that had the show doing a kung-fu movie sort of thing but just came across as yellowface.

Maybe it's a cumulative reaction of how the last season was received, but I watched a fan edit of the ending that removed the most egregious aspect and I hated it less.

Big win, there's now a minimum number of writers required based on size of the project. They can't just hire 1 or 2 and put the whole season on them.

It has to be. Someone said "they've saved an entire profession" and hell yeah.
