I have a short story in an anthology called NO POLICE = NO FUTURE. It is an SF antho with the theme of alternatives to current policing. Some of us are using the genre to critique current systems of power. :-)

The history of copaganda in Hollywood is really insidious but unsurprising, how LAPD and other forces would give production companies permits more easily if they were filming something that portrayed cops as loveable heroes (i.e. CHiPS)

I second all of your recommendations. That piece helped me realize just how much I need to look out for internalized copaganda in my writing and world-building. It's a lot.
