"b-but you're supposed to only care about the monsters" ok then stop interrupting the monster action with bad acting delivering the stupidest lines and narrating what I'm already seeing happen on screen like if I was a toddler, good god man

I couldn't fucking stand godzilla vs kong for this exact reason. Apart from the only good action scene in the whole thing being godzilla going sicko mode on kong, the "just shut your brain off and enjoy the spectacle" line doesn't work when the spectacle is eschewed for a bad late 2000's sitcom

You have to REALLY try to get such bad acting out of Rebecca Hall
