36) Dune (1965) Insanely superb read. I'm so glad I've finally dedicated the time to sit down and read the original novel. It may feel overwhelming at first, but you will most certainly become engrossed in its world and find yourself unable to put it down.
34) GG Aleste 3 (2020 - Switch) A technical marvel that pushes the hardware capabilities of the Sega Game Gear beyond its limit. Takes all of the best qualities of the previous games and refines them for one fast and tense shmup experience on the go.
33) Power Strike II (1993) The ability to modify your ship's speed on the fly and charge your weapons to perform a burst charge opens up a lot of possibilities. Fast and visually pleasing, this could easily pass as an early Mega Drive game.
32) GG Aleste II (1993) This is a big improvement over GG Aleste, while also managing to be more chaotic and faster-paced, which is especially impressive for a Game Gear shmup, but it felt a bit lacking in terms of enemy variety. A bit on the short side, featuring fewer levels.
