So I just want to throw this out there for Suicide Awareness Month. Depression is a liar. It will tell you lies about you. It will tell you it will never be better. It will tell you it will always be this way. Those are all lies.

I’ll say one thing, state legal weed has made life easier since COVID and Trump tearing my family relationships apart. I turn 44 on Friday and it so rings true. “Don’t let the bastards get you down” as Kristoferson (RIP) and said to Sinead (RIP)

I have had depression for all my adult life (and then some). I come by it naturally. Mental illness doesn’t run in my family, it plays tag. On both sides I have family members with severe mental health problems. I’ve lost two members to suicide. I have seen many more attempts.
