Most of my resistors are 1/4-1/2 watt. Maybe I just buy crappy resistors. 😂

The board maxes out at 12 volts, and they're supposed use like a 2 kilo-ohm resistor. Was probably just old or slightly broken

no I think you're right the little breadboard ones are usually that low I just work with high power resistors so much I forgot how low they actually are
