You can just TELL when something has that guy’s hands on it. Who keeps giving him money to make shit? The overall plot of Grotesquerie isn’t, horrible but, I feel like if you REALLY stripped it down of all The Ryan that’s there to just be weird and distracting (and not in a good or novel way) +

His brand is just creepy + sexual for the sake of being creepy + sexual it doesn’t provide for the plot it actually rather decidedly distracts from it. Stop doing it it’s not interesting or edgy it’s just his own flavor of horror porn, which is also sometimes queerphobic btw.
