This week for #Fossilfriday#Guess#Lego#Fossil. This one I would rate as medium. This ceratopsian is known for its relatively large nasal boss. Reply your guesses. This was designed by kongzilla and then modified by me into something new.

It was found by Daniel Mesa, a local shepherd who found the fossils while looking for lost sheep. In 2005, Rauhut el al formally described and named Brachytrachelopan. It has the shortest neck of any known sauropod. 2/2

In 2009 the fossils were formally named Australovenator and Diamantinasaurus by paleontologist Scott Hocknull et al of the Queensland Museum The fossil specimens were nicknamed Banjo and Matilda respectively after the song Waltzing Matilda written 100 years before in Winton by Banjo Paterson. 2/2
