Summer of 1980. My parents took us to the Star-Lite Drive-in to see a Star Wars double feature; A New Hope & Empire Strikes Back. We were dirt poor so concessions weren't a thing for us- my mom popped a bunch of corn and put it in bread bags for us. Fell in love with cinema on the spot.
In fairness we also have Peter O'Toole who had the hardest name ever, James Baldwin, and Wes Craven, so it's a win/lose thing.
I just found out that Vance and I share a birthday (ten years apart, but..) so I just gave a donation to an abortion rights group in "our" name.
