Advertisers are saying we don’t want to be caught advertising on a site that tolerates and amplifies neo-Nazis. And because Elon cares more about having neo-Nazis on the site than advertisers, he’s suing Media Matters for pointing out what he’s doing.

I reported an account on X that is using outright Nazi antisemitic imagery to harass Jewish people, literally pasting the Nazis’ yellow stars and other tropes over their avatars in replies to them. It’s so far from subtle. X emailed me to say the account “hasn’t broken our safety policies.”
