I think this album might have more *bops* than the last one, tho it took me a few listens to settle on 'yeah, this still sounds like MCR'. With obv exceptions like Sing or Summertime or Scarecrow, where I get the feeling that branching out was the point?? I'm vaguely aware of a COMIC?? lol (cont)

Ultimately, I dig this album a lot - it's fun as hell - but I don't know how I would have taken it if I was a fan at the original release. It's possible I only enjoy it more now as an adult, given how The Kids From Yesterday makes me tear up. lol No full albums past this, so I guess it's EP time!
