I made a comment about how this will enable targeted harrassment and stalking. Very shortly after that post my account was banned. I saw some page about appealing and then I got into a password reset system that doesn't work. I'll miss the connections I made there but Threads is over now.

I got abruptly banned from Threads and/or Instagram. Don't know why (there's no good reason) but the experience of (not) recovering my password or anything else pretty much makes it impossible to get back. Bummed because I've been very engaged since day one on Threads.
