I think about Dr. Christine Blasey Ford all the time. Her testimony saved my life. I’ll always be grateful for her efforts to save this country from itself. And no effort is wasted.

She was so steady and brave. She and Anita Hill are my litmus tests for whether someone really supports women. If a person disbelieves either one, they are out.

I feel the same way about Dr. Anita Hill. And it's why Joe Biden wasn't even my 4th choice.

Amen to that. The elaborate artifice in D.C., the politesse, the hidden hierarchies. And that woman tore through that mfing facade for a brief moment. And then promptly memory-holed. I just hope her stalkers have forgotten about her by now as well.

Time fades a lot of my memories, but watching her testimony is firmly emblazoned on my mind. I can see it. I can feel it. She did more than anyone could have asked to try to help us all.

I woke up this morning thinking about Dr. Ford.

Watching her testimony broke something in me permanently

I live in the Md suburb where she grew up, and her parents still live. Her father supported Kavanaugh. I drive past that country club where she dove, and he (and he) golfed. Makes me think of the bravery it takes to get through each day. Makes me vow to support my own child, growing up in this town.

She deserves every good thing forever
