Watching Madame Web and it’s got to be one of the most lacklustre films I’ve ever seen. My grandmother in her 100th year gave off more energy than Dakota. Thankfully it’s from the library so cost me nothing except my time as I watched in the background while doing other tasks.

That feeling of relief when despite the sound of distant fireworks, your nervous dog still does her evening ablutions in the garden. And then comes in & throws her favourite toy in your direction b/c it’s evening tug of war time apparently. I don’t make these rules, I just follow them 🤷♀️
These people are all insufferable sounding. If any kin of mine brought one of them home, I’d go full Momo & throw the cutlery drawer at them & kick both out
I say to them, if you’re doing this for the 1st time, how will it be perfect? I only want you to try it & do your best & see how you get on. But they find that so hard. Luckily they have a leader who is average at just about everything & has fucked up so many times & is all about taking part
1 of my Guides is on the spectrum & had a meltdown one time b/c she hadn’t done an activity right. I said all I ask is that you try when you’re at guides. It doesn’t ever have to be perfect. She was actually easier to calm down then non spectrum girls over the same thing
Today I broke out the slow cooker & made brown stew. It’s chock full of veg that are soft enough not to cause a stoma obstruction but hearty enough to be nourishing to body & soul. There’s a lot of things I can’t do but I CAN make a great stew dinner!
This rot is slowly making tracks over here too with far right Christian nonsense on the rise. This is why I consider myself a person of faith. (I don’t like labels anyway, it’s a Gemini thing)
Not that anybody does but if someone did control the weather, could they hook a girl up with nice dry week next August for international camp? I’m not asking for sunny weather, just no rain. Or less rain. My child of Prague statue hasn’t worked the last few years…
