Went to see Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. The film lost audio for stretches, restarted, lost audio again, and restarted. Was ticked off enough to extort the manager for three free passes to future films for everyone in the audience. (Only a dozen maybe for the matinee show.)

Heads up: WAR FOR THE OAKS by Emma Bull is on US Kindle sale right now, for $2. I've heard this described as the archetype for modern urban fantasy, and I won't argue against that -- it's a very good book, very urban, with very fantasy. I have acquired some for random giveaway.
