I like Rings of Power, but it reminds me of Detective Pikachu. I don't see how it is accessible to anyone w/o deep knowledge of the lore already, but it doesn't really flesh out that lore into a strong, well-paced) plot. So as a big Tolkien fan I'm going "neat references, but story's a bit weak"
