You can turn off motion controls, but doing so makes those games never show up. Which isn't a big deal. But if you want the full roster of mini games, you need to use a joycon.

I like that there's the option at least, really didn't like the controls in normal Super. Guess I'll have to look at that a bit whenever my copy comes in.
