I mean, the actions are totally different but the results are the same from one point of view: a 'win' by one side or the other. I can see why someone with no ethics who only cares about winning power might think they are the same: the opposing side is shut out of governing.
I think this sums up late stage capitalism. We have already bought everything we need. Weāve even bought a bunch of things we really didnāt need. Now they are trying to sell us on things we specifically said we didnāt want.
