Cool bosses, minigame mode was surprisingly very engaging, great level design, and the ultra abilities were really fun. Also it has Magolor, so do you really need anything else?

5. Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe It's a tough choosing between this or K64 as my favorite Kirby, but I think this one might take the cake. It's lacking some of the charm that one had, but makes up for it in every other way. This is the classic formula at its absolute best.

4. OneShot OMORI was a very emotional experience for me, but this is the only game that straight up make me break down crying. This game does a really good job at getting you attached to the world and characters, and the story is genuinely kinda mind blowing at times.

3. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door This is just peak turn based combat in my eyes. It's simple without sacrificing depth. I've always loved how these games expand on the Mario world in a less traditional way. Love the characters and setting as well.

Another aspect I love is how it's basically a coming of age story, and it's not afraid to cover some pretty dark topics. Ness goes out into the real world, and encounters all the problems that come with it.

2. EarthBound This was the first "weird quirky RPG" I ever played, which makes sense since it's kinda the first of its kind. I love the vibes in this one, the gradual progression from 50s America aesthetic to psychadelic trip by the end is so cool.

Not only does it put you fully in the perspective of the main character, but it commits to that all the way through, which I respect so much.

1. OMORI Alright let's start with the obvious one. OMORI may be my favorite video game of all time. Not many games gripped me emotionally as much as this one did. This game has the coolest storytelling I've ever experienced in any media.
