And is the expectation that all of your current Heads are in control of, and accountable for, all aspects of headteachering? Budget, devolved capital, curriculum development and oversight, staffing (recruitment, appraisal, managing change etc), HR issues, H&S and everything else?
I'm curious what your MAT looks for in terms of 'proven track record of school improvement'? Is that in one setting/ context or more? Does it take into account a track record of successful financial and personnel management of the school?
We should write a book on this.
