In Judaism we talk about “disagreements for the sake of heaven.” In the Talmud, when matters of Jewish law can’t be resolved on the page, there’s a cute acronym that’s basically, “someday Elijah the prophet will show up and tell us who won but until then 🤷” Not all disagreements are bad or wrong.

People who disagree with my world view make me think. How boring life would be to have everyone around me have the same opinion. Of course, the exception is hatred, I have no room for that.
In essence I agree with this entire post. But when I read the initial one that this post is a response too I keep imagining someone having disagreements that take away someone else's human rights rather than if pineapple on pizza is right or wrong. There are topics you can't have disagreement on.
