Oooh - this is a real trip back into the mists of time. I worked in a corner shop in the early 80s and found a tape like this wedged on a shelf behind a box. It was more the sound of 1980 than 1976. It was scratchy and bad but I treasured it as long as I had a working tape player.
Also, in my retirement spare time, I had my first meeting yesterday as a member of the Racine Transit Commission. It is an oversight board made up of citizens and officials. I've used and valued transit service all my life and hope my railroad career will guide me. Photo is from my front yard.

Seven historic places on this year's tour.
Last year we had our home on the Preservation Racine tour. On Sunday, I'll be House Captain at a tour home nearby, a sweet 1913 Arts and Crafts bungalow. And I'm now Vice President/Acting President of the group. Photo is Taylor Hall, also on the tour, from article in link.
Sounds great, and some great photos in that article. No trip to Madison for me, though. I'm up to my ears in Racine house tour this weekend.
