As an FQHC CMO, every year I have given each of my NPs/docs a book for Christmas. This year, it’s “These Vital Signs” by Dr. Sayed Tabatabai. We serve the neediest and it’s a hard and heart-breaking job. When burnout looms, I hope his stories remind them why we do what we do. 🩺
