I don't think the movie fully works, but Diablo Cody can write oddball punchlines like nobody's business, the cast is committed 5000%, and director Zelda Williams has an eye for Pop Art Gothic imagery that basically guarantees LF eternal life as an alt-kid classic.

There will be a generation of (I say this with love) fucking weirdos weaned on LISA FRANKENSTEIN and BOTTOMS, and those children will take us to the stars.
