While you can argue that you don’t need any of those fundamentals to write a JS app (this is true!): after a while it becomes useful to have a full understanding of the computing stack: starting from the physics of computing through low-level arch all the way to high level
Haha, this used to be my hobby. Like a secret trick to optimise the disk, among my friends when I was a kid. 😅
Used to be in the same boat, Learn everything but never apply. These days I’m doing more of… Do something, there’s a gap, fill the gap by learning it and repeat. Summary: find the use/application first and then work backwards 😅
Yes please 🙌
this, 100% The (in)famous 10x engineer is the one who can dig a bit deeper than his familiar tech stack depth and knows _when_ to intervene and when they should not.
Nice. I’m on Aeropress and the same thing happened especially when having it first thing in the morning. Moved to herbal tea for mornings and my first black only after some breakfast.
the point of reducers is to collapse time. it’s like, if describing a whole thing at once is too hard, why don’t we try to describe it as a series of stop motion frames. state 1 [action 1]=> state 2 => [action 2]=> state 3, and so on. you can always “zoom in” at the most detailed level: one step.
We need more react here 😄
You promised? 😛
