For anyone who needs to hear this: it's OK to be wrong about things. You can have a change of opinion or beliefs after hearing more information and facts. That's not a personal failure. It's personal growth.
Yes, but the people who were right the whole time still get to make fun of you.
And if it's the fear of looking stupid, nobody will remember if you go "oh shit my bad" then move on! Everybody will however, remember when you doubled and tripled down and argued with everyone
Ty..needed this
I reserve the right to be smarter today than I was yesterday. And I also reserve the right to be smarter tomorrow than I am today.
The opinions we held say 5 years ago...and not the options we hold now. It's called growth, expanding your mind and viewpoint. If you are not growing, you're dead !
it's also ok to say "I don't know" when you don't know something. in fact, it's a good way to learn stuff!
Thank you Mr Fuchs for this wisdom. Your avatar reminds me of Paul Revere and he is my favorite ☺️✨
Being wrong is great, because it means you get to learn something new and become a little bit smarter. If you're always right then you're never pushed to improve yourself and you'll just stagnate.
There are few things I respect more than someone who can actually take an argument to heart and change their mind about something. So many of us are just completely closed off to any new thoughts or information. That pisses me off more than ignorance.
