I’ve had some success with egg spawners, including Cories! You may not be able to see it but in the image below are 6 Rasbora. I bought 5. This is my “nano” tank. I’m very happy with it right now.

Here's my (empty of animals except ramshorn snails and copepods) nano tank that's destined for shrimp, waiting for the nitrogen cycle to finish. All plants are trimming offcuts or pups from my main tank! I'm excited for the Pogostemmon to grow in and hide the filter and cords.
