His words made her heart flutter, a light blush dusting her cheeks while she hid her growing smile behind her coffee. "What have you been up to?"

The whisper wasn't missed by her sensitive ears, resulting in a small frown. She knew the feeling all too well with all her years in the labs. She wasn't allowed to linger for long on that thought, her attention drawn by the familiar name. "Actually, yes. I visit his tea shop when I can."

She laughed lightly, her eyes holding a warm affectionate glow as they met his own green eyes. "And it's nice to see you again too. I missed you."

Sliding in across from him, she sipped at her drink, humming happily as the warmth traveled down her throat. "Doing well. Better now that I'm finally home." A smile curled at her lips. "It seems you didn't burn the building down while I was away."

The generosity was another surprise, something this stranger seemed to be full of. "Truthfully, I'm not sure. I was asked to patrol the building, but I never expected to find anyone here."

"You're welcome." She smiled warmly, another coffee in hand for herself. "Mind if I join you?"

Taking the terminal, she looked it over, examining it before finding the small power button on the top. It took a few seconds for the machine to boot up once it was pressed, but soon the device was working. "Here," Tia held it out for him, it should work now."

She couldn't hide her amusement, watching him try to get the terminal to work. "Is it old tech?"

She happily leans into his warmth, wrapping her arms around him. "Goddess, I missed you so much..." Tears welled up in her eyes, still in mild disbelief. "I thought I would never see you again."
