Blocking instantly kills a troll's oxygen supply & disincentivizes their ability to harass. But for it to work we must use block on bad faith bad actors. We're under no obligation to coexist w/trolls. Bsky is not a town square, we're not mayors, & we don't need to "uphold" a troll's free speech.

If you're newly from Twitter, disabuse yourself of the notion that Twitter had good faith moderation. Don't be block-averse. And lean into new (better) moderation habits so your friends and follows feel safer if connected to your feeds.
