i think my only complaint so far about this site is the appendix of .bsky.social to everyone's user handles so i hope someday that just, goes away?

It's mostly because you can change your handle to a different domain if you own one. Like I used to have .dog at the end of mine for a year but paying to renew the domain would've been too expensive.
