😂 exactly, it's just damage control vs problem solving, either way you get your hands dirty once in a while... I've been on Linux Mint full time for 3 months now and there's no apps or games that don't work (for my usage), Linux made big leaps since Steam Deck
I came back to Linux earlier this year after a 6 year hiatus and while games legitimately have improved due to Wine/Proton, the rest is pretty much the same. Things have advanced, sure, but I feel if one is able to use Linux now, they could have done so for 15 years (less games ofc). :P
kernel based and other anti-cheats prevent me from fully moving across yet because of some games I like to play, but this move from them: www.notebookcheck.net/Microsoft-pa... makes me hopeful that they'll move away from it eventually so I can finally stop using this trash pile of an os 😭
