While technically it's own things and not a 2nd edition of SotDL, it does look like it in a lot of ways. Same engine but with tweaks, and carrying over a lot of the content that was introduced in the almost decade of SotDL being around, in just these 2 books.
I've been waiting for this to finally happen, heh. I imagine it might wane again once the initial excitement wears off, but here's hoping things keep going in this direction!

I got my books in for Shadow of the Weird Wizard a couple days ago! I'll admit, while I was (and still am a tad) dubious about making it 2 core books vs Demon Lord's 1, they put A LOT of stuff in there for players and GMs. Even had a bunch of optional rules in the main books!
